Sörmons Stugby Holiday Village
Ljusnedal is the least hilly village in the Funäsfjällen and the most protected from the wind. That's why there are many easy loops directly accessible from the cottage, from 1 km across the field to 300 km around Funäsdalsberget mountain. The most popular one is the transit track to Kåvan and back, with a choice of the north or south side of Ljusnan as starting point. Fjällslingan on the south slope of Anåfjället, 18 km, is also a favorite with many with its windbreak in a sunny location and rest stop. Perfect location for both beginners and to practice for the Vasaloppet!
Funäsdalsberget's varied alpine facility, protected from the wind, can be seen from the resort village. It's a 5-minute drive by car to get there.
The resort village has 4- and 5-bed cottages of 48 sqm and one 6-bed cottage of 56 sqm, with a proper ski storage for each cottage. 6 TV channels, DVD, microwave, toaster, good kitchen equipment. No dish machine.
Well-maintained cottages with the landlords as neighbors who help with clearing away the snow and good service.
